Bristol 2015 Neighbourhood Partnerships Fund
The Bristol 2015 Neighbourhood Partnerships Fund is the first of three Bristol 2015 grant-funding opportunities, collectively worth £2m, to be launched this summer.
This £250k fund has been set up to provide a grant of £10,000 to each neighbourhood in Bristol. The aim of the fund is to enable local groups to launch events and projects that will help change attitudes and behaviour towards sustainable living.
What’s really exciting is that decisions are made on an individual neighbourhood level, so it’s local people who make the choices about the projects that are selected for their area. The launch of this fund means that every neighbourhood in the city can play an active part in identifying and delivering projects for Bristol’s European Green Capital year.
The Neighbourhood Partnerships Fund has been specifically created to support projects at a neighbourhood level. Projects that will benefit several neighbourhoods, or the city as a whole, should apply for the Bristol 2015 Small Grants Fund, which launches in July.
Have an idea?
If you’ve got an idea for a project that will make a positive difference to your neighbourhood or community, and make Bristol a healthier, happier city, then your local Neighbourhood Partnership will want to hear about it.
Apply for a grant
The best way to find out more information on how to apply for a grant from the Bristol 2015 Neighbourhood Partnerships Fund, is to go along to your next local Neighbourhood Partnership meeting. Meetings vary in each neighbourhood in Bristol, and there will be one happening near you between 10th June and 27th July. Find your local meeting.
Your local Neighbourhood Partnership will be able to give you application forms and guidance notes, as well as information about the opening and closing dates for applications as these will vary for each individual neighbourhood.
