The Bespoked Constructors' Challenge

Bespoked Constructors Challenge at Arnolfini is a new event for 2015 that aims to broaden and diversify the appeal of bespoke bicycles and to make people think creatively about how they use transport.

Five teams of builders, designers and end users will be chosen to exhibit a custom built bicycle that has been created to serve a specific purpose and solve a real transport issue is someone’s daily life. Alongside the bicycles will be photographs and films of the making (and riding) of the bicycles. The event will demonstrate the diversity of possible uses for the bicycle – and that they form a viable alternative to the car for regular work and daily life. Upstairs at Arnolfini Bespoked will showcase bicycle components, accessories and apparel from independent makers and designers of the bicycle world.
