Food you can feel good about
IKEA is passionate about helping people live a more sustainable life at home and this includes caring about what we eat, how we eat it, and how we can minimise waste. That’s why they’re taking over the Bristol 2015 Lab Space to share a series of sustainable food workshops. Join them for some tasty treats and lots of tips and ideas from their new catalogue between Friday 11 and Sunday 13 September.
Sample some sustainable dishes prepared by IKEA experts this weekend in the Lab, including organic lingon juice and jam, veggie balls with organic tomato sauce, responsibly sourced salmon, and UTZ Certified coffee and chocolate.
UTZ Certified stands for sustainable farming and better opportunities for farmers, their families and our planet.
Sustainable food workshops will be held throughout the weekend, with advice and demonstrations to help you make better food choices and learn more about where your food comes from.
For those with a more in-depth interest in sustainability, short workshops will also be held about the importance of businesses knowing their suppliers, understanding UTZ certification, and IKEA’s sustainable ranges.
For more information on the workshops, please see the event listing.
