Urbane Eco is a specialist supplier and installer of solid wall and other breathable insulation systems. As part of our committed and innovative “Holistic Building” ethos we believe that, as well as being energy efficient, homes should be healthy places to live and we take into account issues such as retained moisture, humidity and the wider impact on the environment.

… The lounge is now warm and we do not need the gas fire as supplementary heating as we did before and the humidity has dropped. It now is a pleasant room to be in….. We have not detected any condensation problems which was apparent before e.g. mould on the walls in corners…

We are a Green Deal installer with a fabric first approach, and offer a complete service for the design and installation of a number of Green Deal measures, such as solid wall insulation, loft insulation, floor insulation, high performance windows and doors, flat & pitched roof insulation and draft-proofing.

We have upgraded the showhome for the city’s ground-breaking Warm Up Bristol campaign helping encourage take up of the scheme, and we are opening an innovative Holistic Building Centre in Bristol, also a unique opportunity for people to see many of the possibilities available for achieving an energy efficient house demonstrated.

We’ve been working to make Bristol a healthier, lower carbon city for many years with our high quality installations of wood fibre breathable insulation systems and our free Holistic Building Forum events, for which we were finalists in the Evening Post Business Awards 2014 Contribution to the Community category.
