Birds and People

Mark Cocker, author, broadcaster, naturalist and environmental activist will bring to life his new illustrated book Birds and People.

Mark’s book celebrates the relationship between birds and people and draws upon 40 years of observing and thinking about birds. Part natural history and part cultural study, it maps the entire spectrum of our engagements with birds, drawing in themes of history, literature, art, cuisine, language, lore, politics and the environment.
